PAScal Safety Calculator - Reach your goal with ease

We have developed a software tool so that it's child's play for you to define the safety level of plant and machinery. With the Safety Calculator you have a tool that makes it much easier for you to implement the systematic procedure in compliance with the new standards, without having to study the maths behind the standards.

 
 
 

The PAScal Safety Calculator calculates the PL (Performance Level) and SIL (Safety Integrity Level) achievable for safety functions on plant and machinery depending on the components that are used. The result is verified with the required PL in accordance with EN ISO 13849 or SIL in accordance with EN/IEC 62061 and any actions that are required are listed. The results are displayed graphically, so it is easy for users to see how well the safety level is achieved in which positions and with which components.
 

PAScal contains the characteristic data of the Pilz products as an integrated library. You can create device libraries of your own or import them in the form of 3rd party product libraries.
 

From Version v.1.5.0, libraries in Sistema format can also be imported.
