Network components PSSnet for SafetyNET p
With the Pilz Ethernet infrastructure components you can adapt the network topology flexibly to your plant layout. These components enable topologies such as star, tree and ring structure. Thanks to the use of various media such as fibre optics, network limits can now be expanded without problem.

Netzwerkkomponeten PSSnet für SafetyBUS p
Network components make extended plants with distributed control logic more powerful because you can - Give complex bus architectures a clear structure,
- Subdivide networks into individual bus segments
- and connect several networks together.

Router – Logical division of your bus architecture
With a Router you can divide the bus architecture of a safe SafetyBUS p network into two segments. Use a Router particularly when the individual bus subscribers are physically separated over a long distance. The Router also enables you to adapt the communication speed to the respective segment length.
Bridge – The link to rapid data transfer
With the Bridge you can exchange safety-related data between two independent SafetyBUS p networks. This way you can increase the number of bus subscribers as well as the network's overall length. At the same time you can make the whole network simpler and more flexible.
Active Junction – Modular, flexible isolation of sub branches
The Active Junction consists of a base unit and up to two expansion modules. You can use it to galvanically isolate up to six sub-branches from SafetyBUS p's main branch. It also provides the supply for the energy cable, enables the signal refresh and allows stub lines to be implemented.
